I’m Jennifer, welcome to Edit and Scale Design.
I am so excited about the world of online interior design. It’s a game changer and I’m convinced you’ll love the process.
With many years of experience in the design industry, I’ve learned that clients are happy when they feel like I truly listen and hear them. Working together, understanding how you live and what you want, we can create a successful, customized outcome.
I created E&S after often being asked to help others with their design projects. I’d respond by just telling them to take me to lunch and we could talk about some ideas. That materialized into a bigger undertaking and together there have been some great visions realized.
In 2006 I jumped into the design world by taking on the enormous project of creating, designing and running a furniture store, which included full-scale interior design. There are a lot of boring and exciting details that come with such an endeavor, but let’s just leave it at, yes, paint colors can be tricky, things get broken in transit, sometimes schedules get delayed, the economy may take a downturn, clients can be amazing, and projects do get completed. And I love it all.

The online interior design process is easy, exciting and actually a lot of fun! We dream up the perfect spaces together; this includes some questions, emails, direct messages and maybe a few phone calls! Edit and Scale will then thoughtfully choose and organize selections and provide a beautiful virtual rendering along with shoppable links. The end result is guaranteed to leave you thrilled, be exactly what is wanted, and will induce a few virtual high fives!
There’s no timeline too long, no budget too small, no creative idea that can’t be achieved.

Edit and Scale Design offers three different online design packages.
step two
Once the package is selected and purchased, the fun begins. We will contact you and deliver a fun “Discover your personal design taste” quiz. These questions will help the project get pointed in the right direction.
Step three
Then we get to it! Creative juices will flow and visions come together that fully envelope your perfect idea for your room.
step four
You’ll then get a first-round creative board (electronic) to peruse.
step five
We will collaborate with you about your thoughts and feedback to your heart’s content. - up to 10 days.
step six
The amazing room is completed, finalized and sent back to you, along with detailed line items and shopping links to all of the approved choices.

Having a discerning eye when it comes to pulling a space together will lead to an inviting and completed feel. My dad always said, "Moderation in all things." I believe this to be true. I design with this in mind. The more you have, the less you see. Edit your spaces. Find the balance between too much and not enough.
Scale
When the scale is right, a space won't feel off. Ever walk into a room and the energy doesn't jive but you can't tell why? The secret is in the scale; something is too small, too large, too short or too tall. Scale your spaces. Furnishings and accessories should complement the size and shape of the space.
